Marcela studied medicine at Charles University in Prague and holds a Doctorate in Medicine (MD) as well as a Baccalaureate in Healthcare Management from the University of Economics (Bc). Additionally, she has received specialized training in Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacovigilance at the University of London. Marcela has gained her practical professional experience at a multinational generic company where she successfully rose through the ranks by fulfilling the obligations of a number of demanding roles within pharmacovigilance, quality assurance and regulatory affairs.
Marcela´s many years of experience have given her a profound and expansive understanding of all pharmacovigilance areas. Her favourite ones are pharmacovigilance systems and processes, their set up and interactions.
Nowadays, Marcela leads pharmacovigilance operations in PrimeVigilance´s office in Prague.
