Joanne is a seasoned legal professional with two decades of experience in corporate law and governance.
She serves as Ergomed’s Head of Legal and Company Secretary and is passionate about using her legal acumen to support Ergomed’s mission to improve patient experience and outcomes. Her expertise in mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance has been pivotal in supporting Ergomed’s growth. She manages all legal issues in relation to Ergomed’s business, including intellectual property, employment law, contracting, disputes and affiliate management. In addition to her legal duties, Joanne oversees risk, governance and compliance, ensuring that Ergomed maintains the highest standards of business ethics and corporate governance.
Prior to her tenure at Ergomed, Joanne was the Head of Legal at McLaren Automotive, where she managed the legal affairs of the high-performance automotive company. Her career began at international law firms Bird & Bird and Herbert Smith Freehills, where for over a decade she specialized in M&A, capital markets, and corporate governance, working on both public and private company transactions. Joanne’s comprehensive legal background, her commitment to excellence and her multifaceted role at Ergomed highlights her ability to handle complex legal and governance issues.
